![]() ![]() The gramaphone like device acts like a telephone between the both of them as one was at the Tohsaka’s residence while the other was at the Church. The communication between Kirei and Tokiomi was a magecraft by the Tohsaka’s expertise of Jewel magecraft. ![]() Over here I will be talking about the other stuff which I feel that most people wont notice about for the rest of the episode. This time the scenery shown wasn’t as big as the other 3 episodes as it was mainly limited to that shipyard, but the way of how the place is being torn up and how the debris flew really followed the laws of physics during the battle between the Servants. Like so for Saber, when fighting with him, when she thought of how long it might have taken him to actually train to actually fight in this standard along with her stress when her hand couldn’t move as well when Lancer had given her a fatal blow. Not only was the unique fighting style was the best thing which was shown, but also the different expressions and mindset of each of the fighters as well.įor example, as both were warriors of ancient times and had a moral code of valour to follow by, each wanted to tell the other their own name as it was considered polite before exchanging blows to make sure to remember the opponent in the future as a worthy fighter or to remember each other in death. Along with the different thinking of each fighter as well like Lancer cursing the ability of Saber’s invisible sword and being unable to act as he wants to as he is unable to judge the safe distance which he can actually attack at. Ufotable had really went wild with their imagination on depicting a 2 spear style while keeping it within the means of normal physics of the human anatomy. That was actually the main attraction of the show for this episode. Thus, for those who are able to do so are those who have went through arduous training to fight well with weapons like this. In normal martial arts, it is very hard to maintain a balance with 2 different weapons even more so with both at different lengths as well. But the ones that were shown were long and short. Though it is unheard of a 2 spear style even in ancient times, the most there would be is in Wushu where the wielder has actually 2 spears where both spears were of a very short length. Now then, in Irish mythology, the most famous warriors favoured the spears as their main weapon. If you had noticed in the ending, the sword was actually shown along with his lover Grainne who was sitting on top of the tree, as I didn’t want to spoil the whole story yet, I would only go in detail of each servant once their identities are revealed or they play a very major role in that episode. In Diarmuid’s tale, the sword and the slingshot was the last weapons that he used before he died, as the sword broke when battling the creature and his slingshot having no effect on it as well, he had no defences against it thus he was wounded badly. Other than his main weaponries which was shown in the anime, the Gae Buidhe(Golden Rose of Mortality) and the Gae Dearg (Crimson Rose of Exorcism), he had a sword which was known as the Little Fury and a slingshot as well. As Fionn actually have the power of healing by drinking water through his hands, he had purposely caused Diarmuid’s death by gathering the water and deliberately letting it go before the water touches his lips. Due to the love triangle between the both of them, Fionn actually initiatied the murder of Diarmuid by inviting him to a boar hunt and Diarmuid was killed due to being gored by a boar. Fionn Mac Cumhaill was the leader of Fianna where Diarmuid actually served as a soldier in Irish mythology. He was famous for taking away the lover of Fionn Mac Cumhaill,Grainne where she fell in love with him immediately due to his cursed spot. ![]() His true name is Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, another name for him would be Diarmuid of the Love Spot due to his cursed spot on his face. His first appearance would be of course in the novel, after which he was a playable character in Fate/Unlimited Codes where the user was able to get dazzled by his unique fighting style. I will be mainly talking about Lancer in this review and his unique 2 spear style and his back story as well. But nevertheless, here is my review for episode 4.įor this episode, it will mainly be Lancer and Saber battling with each other, though with a little Rider on the sidelines observing and at the end interrupting the battle between Lancer and Saber. ![]() Though I can only write it now as I have to watch it a number of times to make sure I don’t miss out any important details. It is only episode 4 so far for Fate/Zero and the first battle between Lancer and Saber has really blown me away and I really had to write this post as it was too impressive. ![]()
